Ahead of launching the Kickstarter for Mistgate, the team behind Mistgate will begin releasing a number of adventure modules over the next few months to introduce players to the campaign setting.
The adventure modules, in a series called Mistgate Legends will first be available for download here on Lorecall and through the [Lorecall Patreon][_lorecal_patreon] page, with additional options for downloading the adventures to come later. The adventures themselves will be free. Extras, such as battle maps, virtual table top modules, and others will be modestly priced.
Mistgate Legends will launch later this week with the release of the first adventure: The Tomb of Tlannatyr. The Tomb of Tlannatyr is set in the Northern Wildlands of the Midlands, just south of the Thazmud mountains. The woods are believed to be inhabited by evil spirits and home to hives of nightmares, but the discovery of an ancient tomb has drawn the attention of several guilds.

How much will Mistgate Legends adventures cost?
As of now, all Mistgate Legends adventures will be free for download. Extra assets like battle maps, virtual table top packages, etc. will have an appropriate cost associated with them. In the future, collections of Mistgate Legends adventures may be revised or published in a collection. Those editions of the adventures may have a small cost associated with them.
Are Mistgate Legends part of a living campaign?
Mistgate Legends are meant to be part of the Mistgate living campaign, an ongoing and constantly evolving storyline in the world of Mistgate. They will have tie-ins with longer format adventures and Mistgate Legends adventures are written with the idea of organized play in mind.
What sort of adventures can we expect from Mistgate Legends?
Like the Mistgate campaign setting which will predominantly focus on the Guild Marches and the Mists, the first series of Mistgate Legends adventures will introduce players to the Guild Marches. These adventures are a mix of traditional adventure, mystery, exploration of ruins, and an introduction to the Mists.
The inaugural adventure The Tomb of Tlannatyr will be released later this week with more details.
How many adventures will you publish this year (2022)?
The Tomb of Tlannatyr will be published later this week, with a follow up adventure being released in the fall. Additional adventures will be published, but there is no timeline on when they will be ready.
Who is writing these adventures?
Currently the only author of the adventures is Sean Quinn, who is also the author of Mistgate. As we gauge the interest in Mistgate, both from these adventures and from the upcoming Kickstarter, as well as through engagement on social media, the team will be looking and bringing more authors on.

Are Mistgate Legends adventures compatible with D&D?
Yes! Because Mistgate is a campaign setting targeting the current edition of Dungeons & Dragons rules, it and all adventures written for the setting are compatible with D&D.
